I did see a nice button necklace recently.  You just string the buttons on a cord or flat ribbon and put a hook on the ends.   The buttons lay flat against your blouse.  They do not go all the way around your neck. Buttons are only on the chest part of the necklace.

Hi Joyce and all, I have never tried any button craft, but when we had to clear my cousins house I brought back home a huge box of buttons and I had someone look up craft ideas, none have yet been tried but here they are. 

 

Decorate lids of boxes, with themed buttons, Christmas etc

Decorate lampshades with buttons

Make bracelets for children with sparkle buttons

Button Topiary Tree

Button Necklace
