[Nfb-krafters-korner] closer peg spacing?

I understand the fact closer together pegs you use worstered weight yarn  
compared to the thick yarn you use on the other wider spaced looms.  It  
works the same as using larger size knitting needles.  You don't cut the  number 
of pegs in half.  With 32 pegs and knitting worstered yarn, think  what you 
could make on say size 8  knitting needles with 32 stitches cast  on.  
Mittens, hats, scarves, baby sweater -back, fronts and sleeve, socks,  need I go 
on?
 
I might not be thinking this out correctly and please let me know, but  
there is a lot you can do with 32 stitches and worstered weight yarn, so why  
can't you do it with a nitting loom??
 
I just don't like the thicker yarn.  It is not readily available and  it 
costs more money and have a limited color and pattern design compared to  
worstered weight yarn.

Since I can not see this loom,  please help me out here.  It said it is  32 
peg loom, so not sure  how Terry gets 16 pegs out of it.  Is it one  
ofthose board looms  that have a double row of pegs?  Is it just for flat  type 
knitting?  [scarves]

Deb,  just keep in mind that because it is a  smaller gauge, the pegs will 
be smaller  and closer together making it  harder to "feel" what your doing, 
but with some  practice and   patiences I think you'll be able to work with 
it. I does  take longer to  complete projects but I do like the way 
projects look when done  on  these.
