[Nfb-krafters-korner] Kinitted writst warmers, not looom, some questions

Hi everyone, while I am waiting for my classes to come along, I thought I'd
like to have a try at knitting wristers or wrist warmers, (not on loom)
could anyone give me an idea of what size circular needles I'd need, gauge
and length of cord, or would I be better using just ordinary needles then
getting the wrist warmers sewn up?  Also has there been a pattern for these
offered at any stage?  I'm a real novice with knitting, but thought these
sounded simple enough for me to have a try.
