[Nfb-krafters-korner] another possible fundraising idea

Hello All,

 

I know it is past time for suggesting fundraising ideas, but I thought it
was worth a shot suggesting. 

Have we ever considered making Braille jewelry? Better yet, custom Braille
jewelry? This could be a good way for the NFB to possibly get publicity as
well if it was announced through the public listserves and such that a
devision of the NFB was making jewelry, as well as to gain publicity for us
as a devision. We could make just NFB jewelry, as well as jewelry with names
as well. 

Are Braille beads in existence? They have beads with print letters on them.
I wonder if there's something similar? Better yet, beads with Braille and
print. I bet something like this could be made if it is not in existence
yet. 

Anyways, it is just a thought. This may be too much of an undertaking but
thought it was worth suggesting.
