[Nfb-krafters-korner] some details of what happened at the annual Krafter's Division meeting tonight?

Hello all,

I was at the convention for our annual meeting tonight, but I was not in
Florida.
Ken and Theresa made a Skype hook up so that Joyce Jill and I were able to
attend. I'll let you know why Jill and I had this special consideration in a
moment. Of course Joyce is our president and of course she wanted to be
there, so Ken and Theresa made it happen. Anyhow, it was so nice to join the
group. Who was there you may ask?
Well, lily, Lucy, Cindy z, henry, terry p, Theresa, Ken, Ramona, Len,
Lisamaria, and at least five visitors. 
Ok, first we had the elections. Here are the results.
Joyce president.
Theresa first vice-president.
Cathy second vice-president.
Secretary Ramona.
Treasurer Cindy z.
Vacant board position jill.

I'm not the secretary as you can see, but I did take a few notes for myself.
Here are some things of interest.

Accomplishments in 2013
62 classes, 124 days of teaching, served 505students.

This year as of mid-May 30 classes have been booked so far.

At last count, we have 38 paid members, five of whom joined tonight.


The craft sale was said to be going well. There was a lot of traffic though
there were no specific details for sales yet.  The sale continues tomorrow.
There was a good deal of interest in the Braille cards, enough so that we
will probably continue selling them and even try to sell them year round.
I am assigned to look into something called "BlogSpot," whatever that may
be, to advertise our Braille cards.

There were four drawings tonight, and I didn't win any of them boo hoo.
The first drawing was for the five new members who joined. (Sorry I didn't
catch the winner's name.)

The second drawing was for members who joined by the June 26 deadline. The
winner was Minh Ha.
The third drawing was for those who got others to join. The winner was Jill.
There was also a drawing for craft kits for Theresa's Xmas in August
classes. (Sorry, I had difficulty hearing, but I believe it may have been
Terry K.
