[Nfb-krafters-korner] OT: the new bill identifier

The Looktel Money Reader IOS app instantly recognizes a bill when placed 
under the camera and announces the denomination. The Ibill is great and 
allows for voice, tone or vibration identification of bills but each bill 
must be inserted into the slot. I've used both and the app is way cool and 
definitely faster.

The I bill is being purchased by the Department of Engraving and distributed
by N L S after September 1.  I think getting on a list at your Regional
Library is a good idea.  They will not distribute to all readers because
some can tell bills visually.  I don't think they really know how many they
will need, so there may be a waiting list. They distributed at NFB
convention, and I am guessing also at ACB.  That may have been an effort to
get numbers. It is a nice little device and quite accurate.  It is much
quicker than an i phone, because there are so few buttons and settings.
Just a guess.
