[Nfb-krafters-korner] is there a new logo for NFB?

You are not the only one, not thrilled with the logo. I like the tag line,
too. Who ever it was, with me, when I first saw it, did not like it either.
I did not know whether to state my thoughts, before. I think it is to busy!
If they had taken the new figure and put 3, maybe one of each color, in a
line, to show working togher, you could tell what the picture was. As I
said, before, it kind of looks like a flower with the balls, heads, sticking
out. Someone had to explain what it was to me!

Terry P.

Well, it sounds like an interesting logo. I have to say that I liked the
other one better because it looked like the Whozit was in forward motion
like the nfb. I like the line Live the Life You want, though because I
think it echoes the idea of Dr. Tenbrook that we have the right to live in
society but, not only do we have the right to live but to live as we want
not as someone else thinks we should live. It occurs to me that those who
think they know how we should live sometimes don't know anything about
blindness. Anyway, change is good and I've heard people in other
organizations say that we don't do change very well. Well, I think we're
trying.

Thanks to those describing the logo. I'm glad I read these posts.

Regards,

Denise

Where did you get to see a logo in color?

The new logo consists of 6 forward facing Whozits, 2 are 2 shades of blue, 2
are 2 shades of orange, and 2 are 2 shades of green. They are in a circle
with their heads pointing in 6 different directions.
Imagine an X with a vertical bisecting line straight down the centerpoint of
the X. The 4 endpoints of the X, and the 2 endpoints of the bisecting line
are where the Whozit heads are.

Directly below the Whozit circle is the words National Federation in black.
below that and in larger blue type is of the Blind. Below that and right
justified is Live the life you want.

Hope that helps.
