Thanks for asking for my fun projects again this year. I have no little Grand Kids any more so I sure miss doing all these crazy things. So let me know how any ideas you use work out.

I couldn't sleep last night. I have no amazing plans for Father's Day this year. But here is one we did several years ago. The kids and Grand Kids remember this every time Father's Day is mentioned.

We painted the kids foot prints coming up the driveway to the porch. No!! it isn't hard. Just a bit messy. So be sure and tell your Daughter in Law to bring some old clothes for the kids. lol

First; put poster paint on a cookie sheet. If you have several kids you could use two colors on two sheets.

Next; fill a dish pan with soapy water for washing feet at the porch.

Now; you are ready to have the little guys put their feet in the paint and walk, probably they will want to run, to the porch. The paint is a bit slippery at first so hold on to them for a bit.

Now; it is time to wash those feet. That is fun in itself.

This isn't for you? not a problem. You can do the same thing but let the kids walk on a large piece of paper. Wouldn't it be fun to tape the feet pictures to the ceiling?

You don't have a big roll of paper? Run, don't walk to the newspaper office in your town. If you walk they will probably be closed. Most newspapers are online now and this project just won't work on a computer screen. lol

Newspapers sell or give away the ends of rolls of paper for use with kids. The smallest roll has an amazing amount of paper on it. This paper is indespensable.

Is this project still to much for you? Just paint little hands. You can use a piece of wood to print the hands. I tacked mine to the wall coming up the steps. Figured hand prints would be there anyway. That was probably dangerous. The kids loved to measure all the prints to find where theirs fit.

I hope this idea will be useful to you. If not I hope it made you laugh or gave you a new idea. Please share any additions you might have.

PS the paint is supposed to wash off with the first rain. But mine lasted over a month. I wish we had used a paint that would never wash off now.
