Well, Cindy and Joyce, you both have some great news.  I'm so happy for both
of you.

I have some news of my own but, it's not so great.  My husband Adam is in
the hospital due to a medication problem which left him standing like a
statue at the bathroom sink last Friday night.  He may go home tomorrow or
Wednesday, depending on his temperature and pain level but, his doctor said
a trip to Orlando would be too much for him.  So, we're not coming to
Convention.  I'm so sorry.  I had planned to be a part of the card sales and
the table and of course, the business meeting.  I always love that.  I don't
know if you'd like me to try to do some e cards and Braille c rosses but, if
so, I'll try.  I can't promise they'll get there in time but, I'm willing to
try.  I hate letting you down.  I really do but, it couldn't be helped.  We
just learned this news today.

I can't believe I won't be in Orlando this year.  Then again, Adam's health
comes first and so does mine.  I recently had a liver biopsy and I haven't
gotten any results back on it.  I'll probably find out the results on
Wednesday or Thursday.  I hope you're able to tape the meeting so I can
listen to it.  That would be cool.  Take care.

Well I am happy today.  I am not only going to my Grandson's third Birthday
Party, I am going home!!!  Yes, it is a few days more then a week,  but they
evaluated my house on Tuesday, I proved I could get around and there  was
some challenges, but I am going home.
 
All the help will be in place by Monday [home aid, PT, OT &  nurse]
 
Next Monday i go to the doctor's office and I plan on getting this cast off!
Just hope the doctor is planning that, too.
 
It was a tough week as the home evaluation was Tuesday, my dear friend died
of lung cancer and I went to her wake at the same place and same room that
we had John's funeral.  I am glad I have today to enjoy the Prince's
birthday.  A big three years old and this will be the first time all  of my
family will be together including myself since John's funeral.  I am  so
looking forward to being outside with the kids.
 
My computer is not set up at home as of yet, but maybe tomorrow or at least
this week I will get my oldest to get it up and going.  He will be staying
over night with me for the next couple of weeks until I can get around and
hopefully find my essentials.
