 She is talking about the adjustable cindywood loom.  It will have 1 peg at the end, 10 on the frunt and 10 on the back and your adjustable peg will be peg 22.  
You use the adjustable peg to expand or decrease the size of your ovle which when off the loom, will become a circle.

center peg??? boy am I confused, are we talking about the cindwood loom? can someone explain please.
