Hi Deb,

The stitch counter bracelets can be purchased at a number of places including the place where Joyce
purchased hers. I purchased mine from lion brand yarn a couple of years ago. I can only describe my
own bracelet.
It is a chain with a toggle clasp. Attached to the chain are flat metal bars which bracket two
strands of beads. Each strand has nine beads on it. the beads are all the same size (perhaps 8mm)
and are all round. no idea if they are different colored beads. Anyhow, when you place the bracelet
on your wrist you use the strand closest to your hand as the units column and the strand closest to
your arm as the tens column. You pull up beads from one end towards the other end to counter your
stitches or rows.

I designed a simple stitch counter bracelet using mini pony beads and a shoelace, rough and ready
but it works. You can easily design your own stitch counter bracelet as well.
 If not, happy shopping!
