do basic sewing without the machine; not everyone has one.
sewing clothes is a good way to begin and a good life skill. they tried to 
show me sewing buttons but I got frustrated as I could not remember which 
hole to put the needle in.

Well, now this sounds like a lot of folks might be interested in different
type of sewing projects.  I will have to give this some thought and get
