David, these instructions and tips posted by Kathy James are the best I've seen anywhere in my research and I can't wait to try the 8-strand flat. With five patterns using 4, 7, 8 and 10 strands there are endless possibilities with these alone, but I wonder if Kathy's book is accessible. Thanks so much, Karen
