[Nfb-krafters-korner] Kumihimo

It can be used to make jewelry and Bookshare has a book about using wire
strands to do just that, but I think you have to use a sturdier loom than
the one we have that feels like flip-flop material. I think to make jewelry
you use a real marudai--the traditional stool-like loom Japanese
craftspersons use.

Or you can make non-wire strand jewelry using the Kumihimo loom we have been
using. You can make bracelets using magatama beads, necklaces, key chains,
and even dog leashes. I suspect belts can be turned into jeweled
accessories with beads and by using a square loom.

Is this craft used to make jewelry?

"All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty
recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity:
but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their
dreams with open eyes, to make them possible." T. E. Lawrence
