Boy scratching my head, isn't it Lion Brand that has the pre matched yarns.
So you could go there get sighted help and see if your yarns are close.

There is a color wheel but no one seems to be able to make it accessible to
us.

Lime green looks really good with brown, or white, or tan, Delta Zeta
sorority colors are pink and green, but it isn't a lime green. So you can't
just say all pinks and greens, for example, go together. Mint green and a
dull white wouldn't look as sharp as lime green with a brighter white.

So when you ask about what color your yarn is, you also have to ask what
other shades are in the yarn. That knowledge will help a great deal for
picking yarn colors that go with the yarn. Is there yellow undertones, or
blue, or purple, so you have to ask about shading in the yarn, and it could
be more than one shade. Yu could take your yarn to a yarn shop, and perhaps
they can give you the colors that go with each yarn. Or maybe they could
match the yarns that go together best

So when you buy yarn, try to buy colors that go together in a color palette.
Or stick with variegated. Pick a solid from the variegated for your edging.

I picked up blue yarn and I thought boy this is an odd shade. I asked the
store owner and it was blue with purple under tones. So not exactly the
right blue for anything patriotic with red and white being the other two
colors.

Color is a mystery to us. Now that I lost more sight, it all looks pretty
much the same to me. So I need help as yarn today are incredibly complex in
the colors and shadings.

Warmly,

Becky and jake

there's no website where I can go to find out what colors go with other
colors ?

I'm trying to find a web resource that I can go to where I can plug in the
color I have and see what would blend with that color. so I don't have to
keep asking I believe I have some yellow I'm working on downsizing all of
my stash that I have in storage right now so that I can begin to buy new
yarn.
