I've heard about this on the Lion Brand web site. I've never tried it
because I wasn't sure how to do it and I'm not that good at viewing
tutorials with the computer. IF someone knows how to do it and can teach a
class or just explain it, I'd give it a try. The only thing is, I have big
arms.

Regards,

Denise

If you use very bulky yarn or strands held together the holes are not
actually that big. After a while, one learns to fit the stitches onto your
arm, so they just fit around nearest your elbow. They are somewhat looser
around your wrist, because they also have to be able to slide over your hand
as you knit off the rows.
They come out quite uniform somehow.
Because you are using both hands and your arms, it is like you can sort of
feel the tention of the stitches quite well, or that is how it felt to me.
Also, on their own the stitches seem big, but somehow, when you have the
project finished, the holes seem smaller and the yarn sort of drape, or at
least the kind I used had that effect.
If you want to stop for a while you can slide your work off your wrist onto
some thick knitting needles or some kind of tube or piece of pipe, etc.

It sounds crazy to me! You would have huge holes in your work. It would
depend on the size of your arms. How would your stitches stay even when
your arm is not the same size from rist to elbow?

I have given this some thought and I, too have gotten some emails from
places with this in the title.

Now I might be able to think out crocheting a chain with my handss, but does
anyone know if you put the loops on your arm? Then kinda knit it off?
