[Nfb-krafters-korner] New craft projects?

The only new thing that I've read about, but have not had time to learn how
to do is "Arm Knitting".

Has anyone heard or seen any new craft projects being done out there?   Any 
new things in the craft stores for folks to make?
 
I have not gotten out to a craft store with someone willing to describe what
is out there on display.
 
I get what I am looking for on the internet, but I miss going into the
stores to get ideas on new things.
 
Please do share, if you have any ideas.  
 
I need to find a sighted friend that loves crafting and lives near  me.
