My family has even used news paper if we ran out of wrapping paper!
The design does not matter, just what is inside!  Espeshually if you have a blind member in the family.   I like gift bags, so I do not get the Christmas paper mixed up with the birthday!

Yes, that darn white wrapping paper with the pretty inside that no one can see.  And what about the July birthday gift wrapped in paper with holly leaves and Christmas wreaths?  Or wedding shower gift wrapped in baby shower paper.

I have lost count as to how many of my family's Christmas gifts are found under the tree in "white wrapping paper" or more accurately, inside out wrapping paper.

Hello all,

With all of the chat about Easter eggs, it reminded me of something that happened when my daughter Valerie was about four.

The Saturday before Easter we colored the eggs and put stickers on them and then placed them in the egg carton back into the refrigerator. That night before bed, Easter bunny mom hid the eggs around the downstairs part of the house. next day Val excitedly hunted down the eggs. Once they were all carefully gathered and placed back into the carton my daughter asked curiously, "how come the Easter bunny hid the plain eggs instead of the colored ones?"

Dismayed I quickly answered, "well, I guess he got confused.> So that is one of those "it can only happen to a blind person stories." It's a cute Easter story. Feel free to share.
