Use any size hook larger the hook larger the rose. Use a G, H, or F and a
small amount of yarn. I will give instruction for small open rose flower and
then you can make up your mind later if you want to make the largest flower
or the bud, all are done the same way.

Step One

Most Important, before you start Leave a tail of yarn about 5 to 6 inches
before making the first stitch to use later.

Make Slip Stitch, this is the starting stitch in all crochet.

Chain 21 and stop. This is the basic chain stitch in all crochet. Starting
will the Slip stitch on your hook, Make 21 chain stitches, Now Stop and wait
for Wednesday instructions for Row One.

If you can make a slip stitch and can not chain, please go no farer, this is
the very basic of crocheting. All others watch for Step Two on Wednesday,
which will be Row One. There are only two rows to this pattern along with
the chain row.
