Hi Everyone,
My loom knit head band class is up on web site. It is a e-mail class starting June 9th. You will learn how to do the feather & fan stitch butterfly stitch. I am going to modify the butterfly stitch so it will end even & come out a good width for a head band. You will need yarn with some stretch so you can move loops. I used a 51 peg cindy Wood loom 1/2 inch guage with Lion Brand Jiffy yarn. The kk loom 3/4 guage will not work for the feather & fan stitch. I measured a 5/8 inch guage against my 1/2 inch guage & it look like it would work. You want a loom size that you would use to make a hat with. You could use the purple kk 48 peg loom. The feather & fan stitch requires 18 pegs & the butterfly stitch requires minium of 10 pegs.
