Becky;
Is this yarn bumpy like home spun?  The prayer shawl will be my first time
using home spun.
Trying to get some idea how bumpy it is.

I got the "Desert Sand" to match my customer's decor, yet not show the fur
in his two yellow labs in the afghan. The yarn is really easy to work with
and goes fast, as long as you stay purposeful in your stitches.

kiss.

Cathy, trust me use a bigger needle then I, with this yarn. I started off
with an I, and thought it was way too tight. I think I am using a K hook and
the flow and stitch are tons better.

Joyce yes there are spots where the yarn is thicker, so that is why your
stitches pulling up the loops has to be purposeful. Soft scale I don't know
what that means. To me the yarn feels kind of like a thinner pipe cleaner.

The colors bleed one into another. So it won't be tan to blue, but tan to a
tannish blue to a sky blue to a gray blue heading to the next color which I
assume is gray, but not sure. This kind of yarn is more interesting to the
eye, gang.
