Annettem  I am definitely interested in the stitch pick up.  I have never
found a good technique for it.  Saturday would be better for me.

Hi All,

 

I am beginning to look at my calendar for the months of October through
February.  I am willing to teach 1 telephone class at some point during that
time.  It will have to be on a Saturday or Sunday.  I'd be willing to do it
as early as 8am or as late as 3:00pm.  Most of my previous classes have
lasted 60-90 minutes.  Of course the start time will be dependent on my
schedule and the level of interest from students.

 

The classes I'm considering are:

 

.         A 2-3 session beginners needle knitting class.  This would include
1 type of cast on, the knit stitch and 1 type of bind off.  

.         A 1 session class on picking up a dropped stitch.  This would
require students to come to class with 2 swatches already on the needles.
We would work on picking up a dropped stitch when knitting stockenette, and
when knitting garter.  

.         A 2 session class on how to knit the Knitted Knocker.  This would
not be a beginners class.  You would have to already know how to cast on,
knit, purl, increase, decrease, bind off, and work with either double
pointed needles or use the magic loop technique.  I would provide tips for
using double pointed needles and magic loop, but you need to have experience
using one of these techniques before making this pattern.

 

So, let me know which class you are interested in, and what time on a
Saturday or Sunday might be best for you.
