I am doing pony bead ornament type of classes.  I also sell the kits with
all the supplies in baggies labeled with Braille.  Just the first 2 letters
of the color name.  These are the larger beads that we were talking about
last night.  Not the largest beads that you use on the safety pin designs,
but not as small as the seed beads you use on jewelry.

Hi Terry P.,

No, you are not too busy. lol  What are these strips you mentioned?  I'd
like to get back to knitting and crocheting and working with beads as well
as other crafts.  I'd also like to do the braille pictures.  Can't wait to
get started.

 Powers from MD.  I was at the chat, last night.
 I do loom knitting, hand knitting, plastic  canvas, some beading and am a
beginner at crochet. I have  also done some safty pin beading.  Right  now,
I have 3 strips for the Navy hospital, in the works, a  prayer shawl, and
learning the loom ornaments.  Is that  enough?
 Two of the stirps are closed to
 done, I just do not want to go past the length they want.  I also want
something small to cary around, so I started  another!

 Hi Everyone!

 (I hope I am doing this right.)  Although I  have been on the Monday night
calls, I haven't posted  here until now.

 My name is
 Annely Rose and I am in Florida.  I have done some crafting  in the past,
but it has been a long time.  I was busy with  raising kids, working,  and
taking care of my husband  before he passed.  I used to knit and crochet,
but that was  ages ago.  I have made some braille cards and last week I  did
some safety pin beading at camp.  When I was a kid, my  neighborhood friends
and I used to make different craft
 projects: a Christmas wreath made from tissue paper and a  wire coat
hanger, leather belts, baskets, and other things I  don't remember.  The
projects I did as a child I used  my partial vision, but now I am totally
blind for the past 5  years so it will be a learning experience for me.  I
look  forward to learning new things to do.  I may get my  daughter-in-law
and 14-year-old granddaughter involved,  too.  I look forward to spending
time on the Monday night  calls and doing projects.  I think that's enough
for  now.  God bless you all.

  the best calligrapher
 now, but all of the other stuff  is still quite doable.

  You don't
 have to have the
  family tell you it is
 alive. Feel of it. Feel of  the soil. Feel for the blooms.
 It will actually  love you for all that love  and  affection.
  When you feel a dead leaf,
 remove it. Or, dead blooms.

  What crafts did you enjoy

 before becoming blind? I'll bet one of us knows  how to  do that same craft
as a blind person.

  I  have been blind
  for 11
 years and have gotten away from doing craft  things.
 However, I  keep thinking of the  Holiday Wreaths we did  at rehab  school.
I  came up with a  idea to make a  pattern to wrap and make  the bows  we
affixed to the  wreaths.  It  turned out to be a  good  fundraising
project  for the school.

 Last month I  got up the nerve to put a  hanging plant on  my front porch.
  For years,

 hanging plants on the porch became a  usual site for my  neighbors. My
family tells me it still lives  and has  blooms. I  guess I  am  returning 
to that creative side  of me. While I  am thinking about it,  I  better go
an  water it.
