[Nfb-krafters-korner] Pumkin Class

Unfortunately with the delay of posting this class to our website due to all
the classes we had in August, there is not enough time to order the supplies
and do what Greg has suggested.

Bolek Crafts might not be accessible as far as their Website goes, but I
downloaded their catalog and was able to read it as an PDF file.

I know the shipping is expensive as I am the one that told folks it is a
flat $10 on their shipping and over $100 is free shipping.

We all miss Theresa and her labeling, separating the beads and teaching her
classes. Len just stepped in to try to give a Halloween Jack O Lantern
class, so lets be nice to him.

Hopefully Theresa will be back teaching safety pin beading in the near
future with her bead kits.

We are all trying to do our best and give a variety of classes and spend our
time finding class ideas, writing directions and working patterns to work
the easiest for all of us without and with sight.

Len,

I sent you a private e-mail earlier today. The supply list listed in the
sign up page has unrealistic numbers of beads. Please send me an accurate
supply list. Also, there is a discrepancy in the kit number from the sign up
page and your note. Which is correct? One place says JF59 and one place says
JF594. The Boleks website is totally inaccessible for screen readers. I have
spoken to them about this and did not get a positive response. I asked about
a digital file of their products and was told this was not possible. I am
unwilling to pay the excessive shipping cost to Boleks. They have a policy
of charging $9.00 shipping on anything under $100.00. So, shipping will cost
more than the kitwhich is from what you say is $7.60. If we ordered as a
group, ordered bulk beads from a supplier and someone counted and labeled
them in the braille color name and bead size, or even ordered a group of
kits from Boleks, it would be more cost effective. Furthermore, if we knew
ahead since classes are planned months ahead and could order more supplies,
it would be more doable. If you can get me a supply list, I will get my
supplies elsewhere. I am not supporting a site that does not support me as a
blind customer. What will be received from them is a bag of beads which most
likely will require sighted assistance to figure out. I have ordered their
kits before.
