Did you sign up for the class?  The class is Wednesday and phone numbers are

I am teaching a Santa Ornament made out of pony beads August 26.  Since your
event is in November this might be something for you.

The pony beads have a larger hole 4 mm which makes it easier to put the
cord, ribbon or whatever thru it.

On the website it has the supplies you need or contact me off list as I was
selling kits for this with each color in its separate bag and a Braille
label on each bag or in each bag.

I  will let a  few know from the start about the calls in addition of the
discussion group. I  suspect it will spread.

I  am thinking we would like to demonstrate a  few simple crafts. This is
our 6th Annual Event and ten to get many persons either new to vvision loss
and/or the NFB.  Beads seem to be of interest and I  just returned from a
camp for blind adults and had a  wonderful time making jewelry.

Welcome. This is a great group of folks. It sounds like you might want to
showcase the crafts you and your friend do or maybe you want to have some
very simple craft that you can show others how to do. Here, we do a wide
range of crafts and we have knowledgable crafters in most areas. Take what
you are comfortable with and know. That is what you will have fun with. And,
be sure and tell everyone about our website, this list, our classes, the
Monday night chats, and so on. We would love to have lots of new members
from your chapter.

Hello,

My name is Michelle Clark and I  am interested in crafts. Prior to my vision
loss, I  was "The Craft Queen". Several members of the Chapter in which I am
President are interested as well but I  took the first plunge and joined the
list.

On Nov 7, we are having our Annual County Resource Day and are adding a  few
other topics to spice up the event. One of the members wants to run an
exhibit table for blind persons to do crafts. Her sight has now diminished
to a  point where she can no longer see what she is doing either. However,
we know better.

Any suggestions on how to do this? Anyone in the DC Metro area  who would
like to come out and assist us? We want to see how far this can go. For
certain, some new members to the Division.

If I  do not fall asleep Monday, I  will be on the conference call.
