Lauren;
What is your needle made of. You need a size 16, metal needle. Your chord should not slide out of this one. I put a needle on each thread, for the santa and only had to remove it once or twice when my chords got tangled. I did not have to use tape, either. If you press the end of the chord between 2 fingers, it will slide into the needle, easily. I can even do it with thick and quick, with a little struggle.

Hi,
I just tried pulling the Santa cord through double with my tapestry needle and it worked. I'd have to keep threading it though and my thumbnail is shot to push it through. I don't know what size the needle is though.I use it all the time with crocheting pieces together.
Thanks
Lauren

I have been inspired. I am going to a local craft store this week to search out some items. What are the size and type of needles do I need to ask for so I can complete my Santa Bead project easier?

Thanks,

Michelle
