I'm usually still awake at 11PM so it will almost be a midnight party! Held
some lovely midnight parties at boarding school, great memories.

At the beginning of November we turn our clocks back one hour, so instead of
4 PM Eastern it would be 3 PM Eastern.

I think the UK does a time change as well, but I am not sure when that
occurs.

I guess the question is, do we want to make it a little later for Maria in
Australia, say 7:00 AM her time, which would make it 11:00 PM South Africa
time?  That would be 5:00 PM eastern now, and 4:00 PM eastern after Daylight
saving time ends the first weekend of November.


Have I gotten you all totally confused yet?

difference between the time zones?

Presently, the UK is 5 hours ahead of Eastern Time, Cape town is 6 hours
ahead of Eastern Time and Sydney is 14 hours ahead of us hear in the Eastern
US.
 
 
Although, this all changes with the end of Daylight Saving Time.  But 
 
With that in mind, I wonder if something like 4 PM Eastern might be a good
time?  That would make it 6 AM in Sydney, 9 PM in the UK, and 10 PM in Cape
Town.  Well, at least for now it does.
