Hi Greg;
Thank you so much for being our watchman in regards to this serious matter. 
I am super cautious about ordering anything from the internet now a days, I 
don't even pay bills or do my banking on line.
New thought here. Has this ever happened to you? A person with a foreign 
accent will call claiming to be from the Windows Tech department, he or she 
wants to get into your computer to fix a so called hacker problem, I tell 
them that we don't have a computer and to stop calling us or I will report 
them to the authorities. A couple of good friends of Terry and I told us 
that they are scammers and want to steal our info. If they call you, just 
hang up on them.

You are exactly right Terry K. I mean no harm. I did not know this until I
started looking around for something for myself. Unfortunately, our world is
changing and it is doing it faster than any of us can keep up with. We never
think of these things till they happen. Because of a poor security on
another site, I may have been a victim of identity theft. I now have to pull
my credit reports and be very watchful. It's not a good feeling when you
start getting packages that are in no way for you. Our police department
told me what to watch for and now I am a little more cautious. This was on a
legitimate site where I placed orders. I just want people to know what is
happening and to be able to make educated decisions. Also, then to give
workable solutions to make things more secure for us all.

You are a good person with a big heart. I do not take anything personally. I
guess I trust too much. I know you mean it all as good. I am just
overwhelmed right now and only hopes someone comes and takes my identy, good
for them. Not meaning to take it lightly but might look at it more seriously
in 2016.

Please notice that I have never mentioned you. I have seen this with others.
It is very easy to be friendly and say to much in conversation. I just felt
the group had to be made aware that all messages are available to the entire
world and we need to be cautious or we need to fix it. I suspect that others
did not know this could happen or was happening. It is an easy thing to fix
if the group feels it is important. I was just alarmed when I saw what can
happen very easily.

I did not look to see what else was attatched to my sisters e-mail.  I had a
lot on my plate at work and surely did not mean to send the imfo.  I
panicked when I read the date and did not know how to get in tutch with her.
I e-mailed Greg and then thought I should write the list, since I could not
be around to make sure someone got in tutch with her.

Hi Greg and Tammy;
How right you are about this. I think that no matter how many Firewalls or
Spam blockers you put up, a hacker will find his or her way around it to get
your information.
I am not trying to scare anyone here, but look at how they are hacking into
aircraft and car computer systems and causing them to crash or stall out.
Please be careful with your personal info.

Hey Everyone,

Please please be very careful on this list. Everything posted to Krafter’s
Korner is put straight out on the internet forever and a day to come. So,
when you accidentally forward things to the list that were originally
private messages, please please cut it down to the bare minimum and make
sure you are not sending personal information. We live in a time when this
is extremely dangerous and is one reason some members don’t come or don’t
stay. This needs to be fixed. To be public is not worth getting somebody
potentially killed because a crazy domestic partner suddenly found them or
identity theft. So, please be careful. I will be honest. This is so serious
it is making me question if I will continue with the group. The mailing list
needs to be private.
