Karen,

If you need your stitches bigger to figure out what you are doing or just
like working with bigger stitches, try a K hook or even an N hook. K is my
standard go to hook for most things. G or H is a small hook for the way I
crochet. This is just a thought for you. I use good worsted weight like
Caron. Red Heart has always been my go to yarn. But, I have noticed some
differences in soe skeins so don't know where that is going.

Hi Terry,

Move? LOL You mean cross country? After 31 years, I will say I have thought
about that. This has not been a good year, but it truly is a great place.
Who knew we were in a 1,000 year flood zone? It doesn't usually get as bad
here weatherwise as it does other parts of the state.

In terms of feeling the stitches, I have found that using a string like hemp
purchased for other projects works to make the stitches easy to identify by
touch. My stitches seem to be bigger and easier to work when I use something
like cord. I have a terrible time keeping the stitches loose and big enough
to work. I was able to make a few small crochet projects with worsted weight
yarn, but that was a while ago. And, I have never really been confident I
was working the stitches correctly. I would like to get it figured out.

Karen
