Hi Karen and Terry K. (Oops, I meant Mrs. Noah )
Karen, when I first learned to crochet, I used a size s hook, and thick and
quick yarn, that worked for me to feel the stitches.
Hey Terry K. I mean Mrs. Noah, weren't you around for the first 1000 year
flood period? Lol.

Karen,
Hang in there for class, you have the idea. I also believe this is the 1000
year for Texas. Be safe.

Hi Terry,

Move? LOL You mean cross country? After 31 years, I will say I have thought
about that. This has not been a good year, but it truly is a great place.
Who knew we were in a 1,000 year flood zone? It doesn't usually get as bad
here weatherwise as it does other parts of the state.

In terms of feeling the stitches, I have found that using a string like hemp
purchased for other projects works to make the stitches easy to identify by
touch. My stitches seem to be bigger and easier to work when I use something
like cord. I have a terrible time keeping the stitches loose and big enough
to work. I was able to make a few small crochet projects with worsted weight
yarn, but that was a while ago. And, I have never really been confident I
was working the stitches correctly. I would like to get it figured out.

Karen
