[Nfb-krafters-korner] Epsom salt lantern

If you are having a winter get together and need to light up your walk or
drive or street, here is a winter lantern that is inexpensive a pretty:

 

Materials

Recyced glass jars, cleaned with label removed

White craft paint

Glue and brushes

Epson salt

Can of clear sealer or spray clear varnish

Candle

 

1.Start by cleaning your jars and drying them.

2. Place a small amount of the white paint in the inside of jar and roll
around to coat inside of jar and allow to dry.

3.When dry paint the entire outside of jar with glue with the brush, coat
well but not dripping. While wet, roll glued jar in Epson Salt and allow to
dry.

4.Spray with clear sealer, if desired to keep salt in place. They are ready.

 

If desired, sprinkle Epson salt into bottom of jar before adding candle and
place lantern outside and watch the sparkle.
