Hi Terry,

You can just send me the eBook as an attachment. I have adobe reader and can
read it for myself without a translation. Wish I could help you with your
lock up problem but I am not sure why that would be happening.  Sounds very
frustrating.

The way I handle putting adobe files into another format is to select all of
the text and then place it into word and save it as a word document. Adobe
does not have an option to save as a word document or even as an RTF file.
If you would like me to save and send it back to you in another format, just
let me know and I will be happy to do that. 
The thing that I like about adobe files is that they are small and thus easy
to send.
