Actually, Greg, Ramona is going to work on something along this line by
contacting folks that are members and having them do something at their
state Conventions.
Maybe Ramona and you could work on this idea.

Joyce,

I changed the subject since this is different. You are obviously doing a lot
and being successful to promote the group. Many people have no interest in
crafting. But, three things come to mind.

1. We could all come up with a list of publications and even organizations
that would accept a mention of our group. We can notify those contacts
regularly maybe every six months. Once the list of contacts and blurb are
made, I can do the contacts.

2. We can do a postcard sized blurb in braille and large print about the
group that can be given out at national convention or even state
conventions. It is just something with contact information and an
encouragement to come and try us out. I can help with producing this take
away card.

3. We could try doing a drawing for some craft prize every six months or
something. It could be some small craft. Maybe if you join the list you get
one entry and if you become a paid member, another entry. The idea is to
show the person what they can do and each of us active crafters could
sponsor it once for some small something and that would take us a long way
out.

Growing size is not the most important thing. I can tell you that from when
I joined the list a bunch of years ago, the group has grown a long way.
Seeing it from the outside, it is easier to see the improvements than seeing
it from the inside.

This is a great group.

Greg,

We have been around for 9 years and I try to get the word out about Krafters
Korner all the time. I tell folks to let their friends know, I have done
radio talk shows, classes via SKYPE outside our borders of the USA, wrote
articles, etc. We have had Facebook and had a person who tweeted for us and
Cathy does the blog and we have maybe 150 people on the email list and last
year had a good year with a little more then 70 paid members. But I don't
know what else to do to get folks finding us.

Joyce
