It would have been funny if you had wrapped one or 2 of her gifts in multiple boxes.  Then she would not know what was inside.  She would have to open a few boxes to get to the item.  Some times people take a large box and put smaller boxes inside and at the middle is a small box, with a nice gift!

Hi,
That reminds me of how my daughter, when she was around 7, got into the closet where "mommy santa claus", as she called me, kept her Christmas gifts. I hadn't wrapped them yet, as I almost always waited until the day or evening before to get around to it. She saw what she was getting and I said "well, now you know so it won't be a surprise." She sounded sad and said she wouldn't do it again. Then, with some glee in her voice, she asked "can you wrap them anyway?" I did.

You've come to the right group. You've got a lot of learning to do and 
that's great. The classes are just like Christmas. They take forever to get 
here and when you pick up that phone to call in to class, you are about to 
open a real surprise lol. The instructors are better at making you wait than

anybody you know and since you aren't at the Christmas tree, you can't 
shake, squeeze, tear paper, or even unwrap those surprises till the day. 
It's gonna be fun. So, get signed up and ready to gather round the Christmas

tree for some surprises and instruction. You just gotta be there. Otherwise,

its like opening your gifts in solitude on Christmas morning. All the 
sparkle and excitement gets lost somehow!

Hi,
How did you make it? I was telling a friend of mine (I forgot to bring it to
show her). She does plastic canvas. She didn't understand how a blind person
would be able to do plastic canvas. I don't know how so I couldn't tell her.

I just wanted to say that the crochet items went over very well. Again I
don't have final numbers, but the day of our membership meeting [Tuesday,
July 7] we had sold $49 on those items.

If we had magnets or small safety pins to put on more of the small items I
think we would have sold all of them.
