Grosgrain ribbon is a little thicker then satin ribbon. It also has a
slight texture to it. I purchased 1/4" of the grosgrain ribbon. Since it
has a slight texture to it and is a little thicker I felt it would work out
better and hold a knot better.

What is grosgrain ribbon? Can you describe it for us? I usually use satin
cord for these types of projects, but I find that the beads tend to scrunch
up if you pull them too tight.
