Here is another craft that you might like, fast, and so cute. Do you all
remember old wooden soda cartons, like Pepsi and Coke cartons. Find one,
clean it up, restain if needed and make this Advent calendar. The cartons
have 24 openings. Place a little nail in the center of the 24 openings. Then
take foam board or pieces of wood and cut the pieces to fit over opening.
Make a small hole in the cut foam to hang on nails. Now wrap the squares
like Christmas packages, with bows and decorations. Place a sticker on the
back if desired, used many scraps of different paper. Now get sticks with
number 1 thru 24 or any types of chips like Bingo numbers and glue 1 thru 24
on each package made. Now place 24 small gifts in each space to open each
day, counting down to Christmas, candy, small gifts, personal coupons and
the like. Each day start with 1 and turn over the foam, getting the gift and
turning over the date package to reveal the sticker. Before you know it you
counted down to Christmas and it can be used every year by refilling the
squares. Just a fun Coke Advent calendar
