I sure was excited!  I was able to identify a lot of yarn that I could not, before!  I am trying to box different brands, together and see how many of a color I have.

Also, Henry and I went to my knitting group, at church.  I had not been for a while and this was his first time.  They make shawls, baby blankets, and blankets for those coming back from war and hats for the needy.  I made a few hats on the loom, last year or so.  We are going to knit some strips for the blankets, for the men, coming back from war.

Hi All,
This weekend,terry and I discovered that the I D Mate Summitt Bar code reader will read some lables from certain brands of yarn,such as lion brand Quick and Thick,Hometown U S A,and a couple of other brands.
We took the reader to Walmart this Saturday and were able to pick out our own colors of yarn.
This info may not be new to you,but we wanted to share it with you.
