Plaster of paris is a inexpensive opowder you can purchase it a Michaels or any hardward store. I have been told it is about $1.25 at Michael, But it could be more. It is a white powder when water is added, it turns into a wet type of mud that dries quickly, I am sure you have felt it or seen in in kits for making hand prints. Hope this helps.
