That is exactly what they are talking about regarding looms.  They have
different amounts of pegs according to the size of the loom.  They also have
looms like the flower loom that I think has 12 pegs.  These looms are
usually made out of plastic or wood.  We do have a fantastic loom maker and
she has a website called "Cindy Wood Crafts.

Hi all
I wish to know whether what we call a loom in South Africa is the same thing
you are talking about.
I have a set of round looms in different sizes. It consists of a frame with
pegs all round it. Your work fall inside the loom as you proceed.
I'd love to have more patters to try.

I'd love to do loom projects. I'm eager for ones on the long looms now
because I've been doing the round ones.

If there is still interest, we could have knitted ornament classes by
e-mail. I may even be able to convert a few to loom knit projects. These can
be used for decorations and all sorts of embellishments.
