I haven't seen that type of loom yet. Does it have to open ends or is there
a turn with pegs joining the straight ones?

Yes, Hettie. It sounds like you have what I also have, a set of 4 round
looms of different sizes.
I also have a long loom with two rows of pegs.

Hi all
I wish to know whether what we call a loom in South Africa is the same thing
you are talking about.
I have a set of round looms in different sizes. It consists of a frame with
pegs all round it. Your work fall inside the loom as you proceed.
I'd love to have more patters to try.

I'd love to do loom projects. I'm eager for ones on the long looms now
because I've been doing the round ones.

If there is still interest, we could have knitted ornament classes by
e-mail. I may even be able to convert a few to loom knit projects. These can
be used for decorations and all sorts of embellishments.
