[Nfb-krafters-korner] request for classes/teachers

I am going to get my hands on it, after convention.  I just thought of something.  If I follow their directions and make an item in braille, then maybe I can translate it to plastic canvas.  How great that would be!!!
It would be like making my own patterns!
Don't get your hopes up, yet, but I am good with imagining things in my mind.
I have always wanted to make a panda bear.  I have an item, from a craft fair, with one, on it, but there are letters interfearing with one side of the bear.  If I could find a bear, then I could just change the colors.  Also I have a lot of those beany baby's, someone was talking about.  They are just big enough to see and feal and get an idea what an animal looks like, especially when you can not really see them on tv or in the zoo!

There is a book of instructions from Perkins but they are closed for inventory right now. I've googled a few patterns though.

Would people think it weird to do an email class on making pictures using the perkins brailler? LOL, don't laugh, we used to do this all the time. I could see if there's any Christmas ones? I could do it via email if folks want?

Cindy Z. will be doing a seed bead class in August and Theresa is planning on a Monday Night Chat [up on the website already[check for date] ]  on essential oils.  So you can mark those off your list by September.

Last week on list, can not remember, Dixie, can you give me a name? Someone was speaking about essensential oils and the things they made. Could that person do a class or a chat about how to do this. Also Cindy, can I request a seed pin with a Christmas theme, like tree or something, I like to place these in my cards I send out each year. Just my wish list.
