Rookie Roundup is for you!!!  July 5, 8:00-9:30 P.M.

That will help you with some newbie stuff!!!  Plus, there are Marshalls from UPS all around the hotel and convention center.  They will assist you when you need help.  Plus, everyone (well...95%) of everyone is very friendly at convention.  Just ask someone walking by.  Most will be glad to help.

I'm actually feeling a bit overwhelmed about convention because it's my first time going. I'm really hesitant to commit at this point because I just don't know how everything works. How about this, could I somehow find you and check in and then if you still have a gap I'd be happy to help? I'm just very hesitant to commit right now. Usually, I'm in there like a dirty shirt!

Michelle, can you find a couple of hours to help at our exhibit table Monday or Tuesday at convention.  We will be selling cards there and other things.

I've been looking online for instructions. I'm really enjoying this!

I'm thinking of ways to make cards with this but also thinking of ways to make them colourful so sighted folks will enjoy them. Then, I'd like to try selling them at Christmas time or whatever as a fundraiser to help with my adoption.

Hi Michelle,

That is how we made our greeting cards to sell at convention: using the good old braille writer!  

We also sold some pictures created on the braille writer for kids to color in the picture.
Do you have a book of instructions or do you create your patterns yourself?

Personally, as one of the greeting card makers, I can tell you that creating those braille cards was fun and easy.
