Hello,

Well, if you made the 21 foundation chain, made the first row one of the 2
double crochet, chain 2 and 2 double crochet in the same stitch, and
completed row two, the 7 double crochet in the same space and one single
crochet you have completed the pattern. Do not be concerned if the stitching
has curved in on itself that helps with the final part, and here it is
below.

Now that the stitching is complete, you have a long, curving piece of
crochet. Now to make a rose. Take your tapestry needle and thread the
beginning thread you started with when you began the pattern. Start at one
end, make a roll, or just fold the stitching like a bed roll, rolling into a
cone type shape, with your chain of 21 on the bottom. As you roll, take your
threaded needle and just make a stitch into that chain row to hold rose
together, continue to roll and stitch until entire pattern has been rolled
on itself and you have stitched the bottom. When you come to the end, the
stitches will slightly flatten to make a small open rose. You might have to
add a few holding stitches in the bottom to make certain you have secured
the flower and you might need a small stitch on the last part of the roll to
hold the last petal from folding open. That is it. Complete. One foundation
row and two rows of stitching, quick and easy.

You have all weekend and 2 days next week to try this pattern. If you need
help with any part of this or unsure of the stitches I will be on the line
on Wednesday, May 6 at 8PM to help with any questions. Please reread the
last 3 days of patterns and if you crochet, please try it by saying the
pattern over and over again out loud, ch 21, row one and two, I can not make
this pattern any easier, it is real basic crochet. Hope you all understood
the pattern, this weekend I will post the entire pattern in one email and
the pattern to make the buds to large roses, do not be confused, all sizes
of these roses are done the exact same way. Please try this and if you need
help, call in Wednesday, I will post the regular call in number next week.
Have a crochet rose weekend.
