Hi all
I joined the group 2 days ago and want to say HI to you all.
My name is Hettie and I am from South Africa.
My craft hobbies include weaving, making baskets using bottle tops for the
sides, make bags using round looms, etc. When my son was still small I made
his shorts and shirts as well as my own dresses. Unfortunately the
sensitivity in my fingers has deteriorated to the extend I no longer can do
that.
I also love making tapestries with different stitches so the completed
article is not lost to touch. It seems as though the fabric I use for that
is no longer on the market, real bad news for me.
Well, that's a little about myself. It is great to join a group of people
also interested in different crafts, which means facing challenges and
enjoying it.
