[Nfb-krafters-korner] Knitted Roses

Terry,

As I said before, I am not a knitter, therefore, the only pattern I have for
the roses are crochet, I do not know who would have a knit pattern for them.
The reason for these roses is that they took very little yarn, work up
quickly, they sell well at convention and there was so many choices in
design and color. If you can get the pattern for knitted roses and these are
easier for you to make, please do that and pass the pattern on to other
knitters in the group. This is a little object to sell easily as a pin or
magnet that also can be used for many other things like, to tie on to
luggage, place on bags and use for headbands and pony tail holders in
addition to be placed on hand made items, and the one or two dollar price is
great as you get a usesful item for a small amount. If we could sell 100 of
them that is 100 or 200 dollars for the chapter, so if they are crocheted,
knitted, loomed or sewed it is a little item, each of us can donate which is
not a large item to help fund raise. I know there are others who are not
doing roses but they found a small items they crafted and that is wonderful
also. Maybe you can do plastic canvas roses to donate, every little bit
helps. Thanks for sticking with this.
Terry K

Can I have a copy. Bet I can follow it better than the crochet!
If I can make them, will you accept knitted ones, too?

Someone on list was asking for a knit rose pattern. If you're still
searching, contact me off list. I found a good pattern and made a pink rose
yesterday. I gave it to my mother, and she is well, tickled pink! So much so
I was given yellow and red yarn to make a few more. Don't forget, Mother's
Day is Sunday!

Karen
