[Nfb-krafters-korner] Make it May

Ramona,

This has been on going for the past few months. I am encouraging everyone to
donate as part of a fund raiser for the division to help out. I taught the
rose class and believed this was an easy project that everyone could make a
few and donate. Last year we made some that sold well and need more this
year. No, I am not attending convention, but I am trying to organize this
part to send to Cindy or Joyce so they can be taken to the craft sake as
part of my Fund Raising Chairpersons duties. I just keep expanding my idea
to get more people involved, I do not want to limit this to just roses but
would like everyone to use the talent of little taught over the year to take
May and give back.

Terry, I must have missed something.  are you gathering things from those
who are not going to convention?  Are you coming and bringing things?  Or
sending them with someone else? Those of us who are going just as well take
our own.

Let us in KK make the month of May MAKE IT MAY.

 

Everyone here at Krafters needs to take their time in the month of May to
give back to the division. Please read and consider. All year long, KK
teachers and organizers and officers work for use the members. We as member
need to set aside a time to share our time to give back. Maybe you are not a
teacher and can not be an officer, but we are all crafters. Each of use can
do something, what is your specialty? Please find a small craft, in whatever
field you work in and find an item that you will work on only in May, that
you can mail to us to take to convention and sell for a small donation. I
will list some ideas below and ask you to consider what small item you can
make and send. I will also post my mailing address below for your itmes.
Remember make them small and inexpensive and I will try to keep you all on
schedule, as I have to forward them in June. If anyone has other ideas plese
share them and let us Make it in May.

 

You can do any of the following in any medium from knitting, crocheting,
looming, papercraft .

 

Pins, like flowers, roses; Magnets, Keychains, Bookmarks, Baby
Booties/socks, coasters, Seed Packets like Lindy shared or some paper boxes
or wallets. Seed Pins, those Cindy taught, any type of holiday pins for
Halloween, Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter. Little square freshers for
drawers. Remember keep it small pack it up and send it to me no later than
June 1.
