I don't know why everyone usesOutlook what an ordeal they make you go thru.

Here is example what you need to do in OutLook and what I had to do in AOL.

I did find a way to do it. Not the way I did it in AOL, but I did get it to
work.

I shift tab up to the CC and the name of the person is in the CC area. So I
then do control A which selects it all, then control C which copies it and a
control N which brings up a new email that is right at the To: and control
V.

With AOL all I had to do was Shift tab arrow down once which took me to the
person who was sending it and hit enter and it would bring me to a new email
and leave me at the subject line. What a pain in the neck this outlook is.

If I can get AOL to go back before I did this last upgrade or get AOL to fix
the upgrade I will run back to AOL soooo fast...

Joyce

To add to what Cathy has said:

1. Open the message written by the contact you want to save.
2. Shift tab up to the from field.
3. Highlight the name of the sender, by using control shift arrow.
4. Hit the applications key or Shift f10.
5. Arrow down to save contact.
This will put you in the contact card for your contact where you can add all
the pertinent information 6. control s to save.

Joyce,
It is easy, but it doesn't always work this way.

With the message open and your cursor in the message, shift/tab back until
you hear the word from and the person's name. you will probably also hear
their email address spoken. Then what I do is to press control/A to select
all of the text and close the message. Then control/N to open a new message
and paste or control/V the info into the to field which will be already
under your cursor when you create a new message. Then edit what is in the to
field by deleting all of the things before the email address, leaving only
the email address itself.
The reason I say that this does not always work is that sometimes when you
shift/tab to the from field you do not hear the person's email address, and
then you know it will not work that time.

If this is not clear, give me a call.
Happy to help.

Cathy F
