You mean there is some code for craft patterns.  I read it to mean the published 2 books like with patterns.

Terry P, There was nothing about The Braille Authority of North America
(BANA)  publishing books in this announcement.  There was no joke in this announcement. 

What I did see and posted as you can see below your message is The Braille Authority of North America (BANA)  has published a document with the braille code for transcribing knit and crochet patterns.

I would think that would be helpful information for people on this list.

Is this a joke!  I have never heard of them producing books, before.  They are in charge of the braille code and its changes.

"Guidelines for Transcribing Knit and Crochet Patterns" is now live and
available on the BANA website: www.brailleauthority.org. At the BANA home
page look for "Codebooks and Guidelines". After clicking on that link, go to
"Crafts and Hobbies" and click on that link. The knit and crochet guidelines
will be the first publication mentioned.

These guidelines are available in accessible PDF and in BRF formats for
downloading. If you need a hardcopy (paper braille) version of the
