Joyce, my front doorknob I have a bell with no loop to attach. I just wove a
cord in one hole and it came out the other. It still rings pretty well. The
bell is round and metal. Maybe two inches across. The lab will really ring
the bell. My golden is quieter with his bell ringing, so he tells me he
needs to go out as only a golden can. Awe, ru ru.

Becky and the ru ru pup, gots her rapped around my paw, toothy grin.

I bought online these sleigh bells that are 1 inch and 1 1/2 inches round.
I love them and want to make something to hang on my door so the doggies can
push their noses on it and ring the bells when they want to go outside and
potty!..

Well I like the sound they make and then started thinking of how I would
make this... Ideas running around in my head. I went back to check if they
had any larger of these sleigh bells and I noticed that they had these
described as not having a metal loop on them.

Well I opened them up and by God they didn't have a loop. They have a hole
at the top and the metal kinda teeth that close together at the bottom.
They have holes spaced maybe a half inche around the middle, but I don't
have a clue how I am going to attach them to anything... What are you
suppose to do with sleigh bells if you have no way of attaching them???

What am I to do, besides go and search for large bells with loops on them?
Bummer without sight I can't see if they have a loop, either...

Joyce
