Hi Hettie;
We just had about a week full of rain. On Saturday evening,we had to go toan 
NFb function,it wasn’t raining when we left home,but,it started up again 
before we arrived at the hall. Luckily we packed Sophie's rain coat.
Other wise,we would have had to duck into the rest room for some paper 
towels.

Hi Henry
Ever tried getting in a full bus with a wet guide dog trying to shake the
water off her fur in die passage while finding a seat? In Pretoria we used
to have what was called the civil servant rain. The thunderstorm broke at
the exact time we were all on our way home. It was often all over when we
got home but the humidity was killing when the sun broke through the clouds.
1 Afternoon as I got onto a double Decker bus a man called from the back
"want to come and sit under my umbrella?" The water came down one of the
vertical pipes you hold on if you are standing in the lower deck of the bus,
which was the result of a leak in the roof on the top deck. Everyone in the
bus had a Lekker laugh as he had a large opened umbrella to keep dry inside
the bus!

Hi Hettie;
Good question,II've seen cats being walked on leashes,but never wearing
jackets or rain coats. My Sophie has a pink rain coat that comes in
handy,have you ever tried to dry off a thick coated very wiggly Lab?

Hi emily and Precious and all of our furry pussy cats; Uncle Henry
here,since I am in charge of the animal part of the Christmas party,I say

No worries,the dogs are friendly,and no chasing will be allowed.

Hi Emily,

My name is Precious. I have a gray and white  soft coat of patches. My name
when I was first born was patches, but my adoptive mom and dad called me
Precious because they thought I was so precious! just last week my mom got
me yowling mad when she told my dad she was changing my name to Chatty
Catty. Sure I like to talk, but I don't like that name at all!

I have an elder half-sister Named Marley. She is much quieter than I am and
has a much prettier and younger mom than I do. but her mom can't have cats
in her apartment so Marley lives with us. to tell you the truth, Marley is a
food hog because she was a stray and has this fear that she will never get
another meal.

Well, if cats are welcome to the party, we might just come if there are
catnip toys for us. my mom grows catnip in the yard and we just love rolling
in it. mice are nice, don't you think. Volls as well. but canned food
certainly tops the list. Little Friskies, now that's steak!
